Evelyn E. Hoyle, 82, of St. Jacob, IL, born Saturday, February 27, 1937 in Pittsburg, IL and passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at her home in St. Jacob surrounded by her loving family.

Evelyn loved her family and enjoyed every moment she spent with them.

She was preceded in death by a grandchild; her parents, Carl T. and Rachel M. (nee Hopkins) Benefiel; and her brother, Floyd T. Benefiel

Surviving are her husband, Rex Hoyle of St. Jacob, IL; her children, Lee (Michelle) Hoyle of Greenville, IL, Dennis (Dawn) Hoyle of St. Jacob, IL, Patricia A. (Randal) Eckstein of Alhambra, IL, Cathy (David) Mintert of Highland, IL, Cheri (Nicholas III) Marinos of Trumbull, CT, Nancy (Joseph) Elsmore of Portland, OR; 21 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Leslie "Butch" Benefiel of Vandalia, IL
