Evelyn M Hill, 97, of Collinsville, IL, born Sunday, July 16, 1922 in Shelby county, IL and passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.

Evelyn was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother who enjoyed walking, gardening, crocheting and her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Hill whom she married April 14, 1941 and he passed away March 29, 1991; her son, Roger Hill; parents, Charles A. and Margaret M. (nee Ewick) Slifer; brothers Earl and Ralph Slifer and her sisters Hazel Gillespie and Maxine Edwards.

Surviving are her children, Robert (Gail) Hill of Collinsville, IL, Bill (Jeanie) Hill of Springfield, IL, Joe (Lorna) Hill of Fort Myers, FL and Tim (Nancy) Hill of Collinsville, IL; grandchildren, Roger (Dana Moyer) Hill, Stacy (Monty) Large, Jamy (Bobbie) Hill, Jimmy (Nikki) Hill, Cory Hill, Nikki Hill, Heather (Aaron) Barnett, Sean (Shannon) Hill, Caylan Hill, Denny (Candace) Hill, Aaron (Alicia) Hill, Megan (Andrew) Hill, Kelsey (Luke) Bryant and Matthew Hill;19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; her sister Barbara (Ed) Tabbert of Los Angeles, CA.
