Ethel A. Voelker, 90, of Maryville, Ill., born Aug. 24,1922, in East St. Louis, Ill., died on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at Liberty Village in Maryville, Ill.
Mrs. Voelker had been a bookkeeper for Dine More Foods in Fenton, Mo.
Ethel loved her family. She enjoyed reading books, doing her ceramics projects and going fishing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus Voelker; son, Raymond Voelker; brother, George Robbins; and sister, Dorothy Miller.
Surviving Ethel are her children, John Mark (Carol) Voelker of Mount Vernon, Ill., Linda (Dennis) Rudolph of Troy, Ill., and Peggy (Tracy) Loewer of Troy, Ill.; grandchildren, Denise (Andy) Dougherty, Bart Rudolph, Nicholas Smith, Danielle (Nate) Henke, John (Carla) Hardester and Billy Hardester; great-grandchildren, Payton and Haley Dougherty, Rileigh Smith, Zach, Preston, Tyler and Austin Hardester.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
Private services were held.
