Obituary
Ella Marie Italiano, nee Mozeiko, 83, of Highland, Ill., born April 19, 1925, in Collinsville, Ill., died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Highland, Ill.
Mrs. Italiano lived her entire life in the Collinsville-Troy area. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Troy, Ill., and the VFW Post 5691 Auxiliary of Collinsville, Ill.
Ella was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony "Tony" Italiano, whom she married on July 26, 1947, and who died Sept. 8, 1980; her parents, Charles and Mary, nee Lonait, Mozeiko; and a brother, Arthur (Gladys) Mozeiko.
Surviving are her sons, Samuel V. Italiano of Troy, Ill., and Anthony Joseph (Patricia) Italiano of Highland, Ill.; daughter, Angelina (David) Mollet of Highland, Ill.; grandchidren, Benjamin (fiancee, Valerie Brammer) Mollet, Mary (Wesley) Harris, Emily (Randy) Sigman, Katie (fiance, Bryan Bastilla) Mollett and Nicholas Italiano; and five great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009, at Laughlin-Richeson Funeral Home in Troy, Ill.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Troy, Ill. Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
