Obituary
Eleanor M. "Lina" Liebler, 94, of Alton, Ill., born June 2, 1919, in Collinsville, Ill., passed away Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, at Eunice Smith Nursing Center, Alton, Ill.
Mrs. Liebler was the proprietor of the North End Confectionery in Troy, Ill., and a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Andrew "Hap" Liebler Jr.; parents, Vincent and Ursula, nee Gaisauskis, Ashmann; and sisters, Mother Andrew Ashmann OSU, Agnes Sartoris, Clare Gemoules and Virginia Chairottino.
Surviving are her daughters, Laurann (Larry) Webber of Mexico, Mo., and Patricia Earnshaw of Alton, Ill.; four grandchildren, Lori Earnshaw, Charlie Earnshaw, Justin Webber and Brendan Webber; and two great-grandchildren, Evan and Benjamin Casper.
Memorials may be made to St. John the Baptist Cemetery, c/o St. Jerome Catholic Church, 511 S. Main St., Troy, Ill. 62294.
Funeral: Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Black Jack, Ill., with Father Pat Jakel officiating.
