Obituary
Edward L. McLemore, 65, of Troy, Ill., born Feb. 11, 1951, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Monday, June 27, 2016, at John Cochran VA Medical Center, St. Louis, Mo.
Edward served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed Deer hunting, bowling, golfing, and was a Nascar and Cardinal Baseball fan. He loved his family and always enjoyed the time he spent with them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles E. and Ella Catherine, nee Brooks, McLemore; and a brother-in-law, Jim Gaines.
Surviving are his wife, Linda, nee Brown, McLemore of Troy, Ill.; his children, William (April) McLemore of Godfrey, Ill., Kevin
(Erica Richards) Hiatt of Troy, Ill., Brad Hiatt of Gillespie, Ill., Janice (Ron) Baldus of Mahomet, Ill.; his grandchildren, Mark and Dylan McLemore, and Emily and Bret Baldus; a brother, Marvin (Connie) McLemore of Troy, Ill.; his sisters, Sandra Gaines of Columbia, Ill., Ella (Frank) Smith of Troy, Ill., and Karen (James) Rahar of Troy, Ill.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2016, at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Ill.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2016, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
