Edward L. Holshouser, 73, of Edwardsville, IL, born June 27, 1950 in Nuremberg, Germany and passed away at his home on Friday, July 14, 2023.

Edward was a member of Central Baptist Church in St. Jacob, IL.  He worked for GKN Aviation in St. Louis, MO.  He loved to tinker on small engines and automobiles.  He loved and enjoyed his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Katherine (nee Hodge) Holshouser; his sister, Patricia Kincaid; sister-in-law, Rose Hranicka; niece, Erin Guccione.

Surviving are his wife, Theresa (nee Hranicka) Holshouser; his children, Natalie (Adam) Kneller of O'Fallon, IL and Daniel Holshouser of Edwardsville, IL; sister, Jeannie Holshouser of St. Charles, MO; brother, William Holshouser of O'Fallon, MO; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Hranicka of Pocahontas, IL, Paul Hranicka of Alton, IL and Joe Hranicka of St. Jacob, IL; nephews Neil Holshouser and Russell Hranicka and niece Jennifer McCauly.

Visitation for Edward will be 5 to 7 pm on Tuesday, July 18,  and 10 to 11 am on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL with Pastor Brian Crocker officiating.  Interment will be in Keystone Cemetery, St. Jacob, IL.
