Obituary
Edward Wilson Boyd, 70, of Troy, Ill., born Oct. 22, 1938, in Griffin, Ga., died on Wednesday, May 13, 2009, in Indianapolis, Ind.
Mr. Boyd was retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Chief C-130 Loadmaster. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy E., nee Neely, Boyd; and parents, Logan Wilson and Frances, nee Wilson, Boyd.
Surviving are his son, Jeffrey Boyd of Troy, Ill.; grandchildren, Jacob Alan and Jordan Alexis Boyd; sister, Bonnie Mills of Swansea, Ill.; and brother-in-law, Alan Neely of Troy, Ill.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2009, at Laughlin-Richeson Funeral Home in Troy, Ill.
Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 18, 2009, at the funeral home with the Rev. Dennis Price officiating.
