Edith M. "Edie" Lambird, 70, of St. Jacob, Ill., born May 5, 1946, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at her home in St. Jacob, Ill.
Edie was a member of the St. Jacob Lions Club. She loved playing bingo and any card games. She loved her family and was loved by them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Alice (nee Sackman) Hornal; brothers Thomas, Ralph, Larry, Leslie, William and Warren Hornal; sisters, Doris Wilson and Laura Chapman.
Surviving are her husband Wayne Lambird Sr. of St. Jacob, Ill.; son, Wayne Lambird Jr. of New Baden, Ill.; grandchildren, Wayne Lambird III and Sarah Lambird of New Baden, Ill.; sister, Virginia (Charles) Byford of Columbia, Ill.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Aebischer-Richeson Funeral Home, St. Jacob, Ill.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Aebischer-Richeson Funeral Home, 211 North Douglas Street, St. Jacob, Ill., with the Rev. Dennis Price officiating. Interment will be private.
