Obituary
Edith E. Aemisegger, age 88, of St. Jacob, Illinois died Tuesday July 26, 2011 at Highland Health Care, Highland, IL.
Mrs. Aemisegger devoted her life to helping on the family farm. She married Morris "Mose" Aemisegger on September 23, 1940. Edith was a member of St. Jacob United Church of Christ; the Lady's Guild at church; the Highland Sharp Shooters; the Edwardsville Moose; Elks and Eagles in Lake Worth, Florida.
Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Morris "Mose" Aemisegger; her parents William and Lizzie Frey; two brothers Ralph and Delmar Frey and sister Laura Carter.
She is survived by her children Curtis (Linda) Aemisegger of Wauconda IL; and Sharon (Donald) Speice of Melbourne, FL; grandchildren, Jeffrey Speice and Bryan Aemisegger; sister Lila Frutiger-Huber of Highland, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Keystone Cemetery.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday September 17, 2011 at Keystone Cemetery, St. Jacob, IL with the Rev. Gary Kniepkamp officiating.
