Mr. Dwain L. Seger, 66 years, a lifelong resident of St. Jacob, Illinois, born June 1, 1942 in Highland, Illinois, passed away October 4, 2008 at his residence in St. Jacob, Illinois.

Mr. Seger worked very hard his entire life. He retired as a farmer/laborer. Mr. Seger was an avid fisherman. He looked forward to spending time with his children and grandchildren whom he dearly loved. He will be truly missed and loved.

Mr. Seger is survived by his son, Scott (Karen) Seger of St. Jacob, Illinois, his daughter, Tina (Bob) Kunz of St. Jacob, Illinois his sister, Janice Brueggman of Trenton, Illinois, his brother-in-law, Donald (Kathy) Gindler of St. Jacob, Illinois, his sisters-in-law, Eloise Seger of Trenton, Illinois and Clarene Willimann of Greenville, Illinois, his four grandchildren, Brandon Seger Amanda Seger, Tyler Kunz and Tanner Kunz.

Mr. Seger is preceded in death by his parents, Adolph and Bernice (nee:Poos) Seger, his wife, Janet (nee:Gindler) Seger whom he married August 18, 1962 and she passed away January 18, 2006, his brothers, Don Seger, Dolph Seger and Dean Seger, his brother-in-law, Bernard Brueggmann, and his sister-in-law, Eileen Seger.

Funeral Service for Mr. Seger will be held Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at the Laughlin-Richeson Funeral Home in Troy, Illinois with Msgr. Kenneth Steffen officiating. Interment will be at Keystone Cemetery in St. Jacob, Illinois. All services will be private.
