Douglas Wayne "Doug" Little, 46, of Troy, Ill., born Oct. 24, 1966, in St. Louis, Mo., died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Ill.
Doug was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Troy, Ill. He was a past president and board member of Tri-Township Public Library.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Elizabeth, nee Weidemann, Little; mother-in-law, Janet Kruse; and brother-in-law, David Kruse.
Surviving are his wife, Karen, nee Kruse, Little, of Troy, Ill., whom he married on July 2, 1988, at Bethel Baptist Church, Troy, Ill.; son, Andrew Little of Troy, Ill.; father, Vernon W. (Carolyn) Little of Troy, Ill.; brothers, Dennis Little and Dusty (Katy) Little of Troy, Ill.; sister-in-law, Kelly (David) White of Troy, Ill.; and nieces and nephews, David White Jr., Lexie White, Elizabeth Little and Evan Little.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Kidney Foundation.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at Laughlin-Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Ill., and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at Bethel Baptist Church, Troy, Ill.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Lewis officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Hill Cemetery, Glen Carbon, Ill.
