Obituary
Dorothy Scott, 88, of Troy, Ill., born Oct. 19, 1923, in Highland, Ill., died on Sunday, July 8, 2012, in Troy, Ill.
Mrs. Scott was a member of Troy United Methodist Church, UMW United Methodist Women and the Red Hat Society.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Scott; parents, John Irwin and Jessie, nee Elliott, Hindmarch.
Surviving are her sons, Robert Scott of Everette, Wash., and David (Alice) Scott of Denver, Colo.; grandchildren, Christopher Elliott Scott, Kelly Parsons, Bethany Scott and Eric Scott.
Memorials may be made to Troy United Methodist Church.
Friends may call from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2012, at Troy United Methodist Church in Troy, Ill.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2012, at the church with the Rev. Dennis Price officiating. Interment in Friedens Cemetery in Troy, Ill.
