Mrs. Dorothy J. Faitz, age 77, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2003 at Rosewood Care Center in Edwardsville, Illinois. Mrs. Faitz was married to Earl on July 8, 1945; he preceded her in death on Movember 1, 1995. Dorothy was born in Collinsville, Illinois and spent most of her life in Troy. She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ. She is survived by one son, Dennis (Patricia) Faitz of Troy; one daughter, Mrs. Sandy (Ron) Harbison of Troy; and three grandchildren Stacey Matz, Stephanie Palicki and Michelle Bauer. She was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Elmer Howard; one step-brother, Junior Howard; and five sisters, Stella Wiesemeyer, Ella Frey, Della Spencer, Leona Krietemeyer and Norma Howard.

Funeral Service: 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 26, 2003 at Friendens United Church of Christ in Troy, Illinois

Visitation: 4:00 PM, Friday, April 25, 2003 at Laughlin Funeral Home.

Interment: St. John's Evangelical Cemetery, in Black Jack, Illinois.
