Doris O. Westfall,85,of Glen Carbon, IL. born April 15, 1921,in Torrington,Wy.,died Thursday, August 31., 2006 in Glen Carbon, IL..
Ms.Westfall was a homemaker and a secretary for St. Jacob High School,Scott Air Force Base and Sagamon State. Ms. Westfall was a resident of St. Jacob, Il. from 1950 to 1982,Springfield,IL.from1982 to 1987, Wyoming from 1987 to 2004, and she then returned to the Troy area.
She was preceded indeath by her parents, Jack and Jane,nee Thompson, Oliver; and a sister, Alice Jones.
Surviving are her three sons, Roger (Eileen) Westfall of Troy, Il.,Dale (Deb) Westfall of Troy, IL.,Dennis (Cindy) Westfall of Troy,IL.;the father ofher three sons,Haven Westfall;a sister,Lois (Dick) Hill of Wyoming;three grandchildren, Travis (Heather) Westfall of Springfield, IL.,Erin (T.C.) Roesch of Springfield, IL. and Mindi Westfall of Denver, Colo.;three step grandchildren;17 step great grandchildren; and a host of nephews and nieces.
Memorials may be made to Gateway Hospice or Troy Library.
Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Sunday, September 3, 2006, and from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.Monday,September 4, 2006 at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 4, 2006 at Richeson Funeral home Chapel, Troy, IL. with Rev. Timothy Lewis Officiating. Interment will be in Friedens Cemetery, Troy, IL.
