Obituary
Doris E. "Tootsie" Tarris, nee Harris, 93, of Troy, IL, born October 28, 1919, in Pittsfield, IL, died Thursday, October 17, 2013, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.
Mrs. Tarris worked many years as a Furrier at Stix, Baer and Fuller.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Marcel Tarris; a son, Marcel "Butch" Tarris; and her parents Ernest and Lottie (Rush) Tarris.
Surviving are her children, William (DiAnne) Tarris of Troy, IL and Charlotte Vincent of Springhill, FL; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Autism Center or Fisher House of Jefferson Barracks.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 am Sunday, October 20, 2013, at Richeson Funeral home, Troy, IL.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 am Sunday, October 20, 2013, at the Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL. Interment in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Glen Carbon, IL.
