Obituary
Donna S. Mesnier, nee Luckshis, 61, of Troy, Ill., born May 3, 1947, in Madison, Ill., died Monday, Dec. 8, 2008, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Ill.
Mrs. Mesnier was a home-maker and a member of VFW Post 976 Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo G. Mesnier Jr., whom she married on July 1, 1967, and who died Aug. 9, 1999; and her parents, Anthony and Dorothy, nee Gregory, Luckshis.
Surviving are a son, Michael (Christine Kemper) Mesnier of Festus, Mo.; three daughters, Sharon (Corky) Parton of Troy, Ill., Cathy (Darron) Norrad of Maryville, Ill., and Debra Mesnier of Maryville, Ill.; two brothers, Jim (Marcie) Luckshis of Mitchell, Ill., and Anthony (Lana) Luckshis of Glen Carbon, Ill.; two sisters, Linda (Paul) Hornberger of Brighton, Ill., and Julie (Gary) Sellers of Highland, Ill.; and five grandchildren, Nathan, Collin, Dylan and Caylee Norrad and Rylee Mesnier.
Memorials may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Association.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, at Laughlin-Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Ill.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, at Laughlin-Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Ill., with Rev. Sig Bjorklund officiating. Burial will follow at Jefferson Barracks national Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
