Obituary
Donald G. Gustafson, 85, of Collinsville, Ill., born Nov. 6, 1927, in Laurens, Iowa, died on Monday, Aug. 5, 2013 in Edwardsville, Ill.
Mr. Gustafson was a member of Meadow Heights Baptist Church in Collinsville, Ill. He had retired from Sears with more than 30 years of service and then retired from working with more than 10 years of service at Walmart.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Jessie, nee Garton, Gustafson.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia, nee Hackett, Gustafson of Collinsville, Ill.; son, Brent Gustafson of St. Louis, Mo., stepson, Charles (Gerri) Trudell of Miamisburg, Ohio; daughter, Lynndee (Jesse) James of Collinsville, Ill.; grandchildren, Amber Condomitti, Toni (Jake) Howe and Charles Gustafson.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Friends may call from 10:30 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013, at Meadow Heights Baptist Church in Collinsville, Ill.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013, at the church with the Rev. Michael L. Barnes officiating.
