Donald Reuben Goforth, 79, of Highland, Ill., born April 8, 1934, in Somerset, Ky., died on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Highland, Ill.
Mr. Goforth retired from Federal Railroad Administration. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW and served his country faithfully in the Navy during the Korean Conflict.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Mary, nee McDonald, Goforth.
Surviving are his sons, Rick (Tina) Goforth of Highland, Ill., Tony (Karen) Goforth of Collinsville, Ill., and Scott (Jane) Goforth of Collinsville, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Madge Hamilton of Somerset, Ky.

Service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at Somerset Undertaking Company, 113 N. Main St., Somerset, Ky. 42501. Interment in Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy, Ky.
