Donald R. Blanke, 68, of Troy, IL, born Saturday, July 26, 1952 in St. Louis, MO and passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.

Don worked at Grandpa's for over 20 years and retired from Walgreen's Drug Stores.  He always enjoyed his travels with work especially the international trips.  He enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William J. and Geneva (nee Bryant) Blanke; a brother, Bob Blanke; his sister, Beverly Blanke and a brother-in-law, Larry Melin.

Surviving are his wife, Linda (nee Weil) of Troy, IL; children, Jennifer (Arlando) Lusk ofCollinsville and Adam (Katie Sachtleben) Blanke of Collinsville; grandchildren, Arlando II and Kingston Lusk; brothers, Bill (Gwen) Blanke of Las Vegas, NV, Edward Blanke; sister, Linda Medlin of Glen Carbon, IL; sister-in-laws, Karen (Matt) Berg of Troy, IL, Sara (Scott) Daminski of Troy, IL and Lisa (Jimmy) Smith of Highland, IL; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11 am on Monday, December 14, 2020 at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL with Rev. Ron Habermehl and Rev. Dr. Rose Lusk officiating.  Interment will be in Friedens Cemetery, Troy, IL.
