Derrick A. "D-Dub" Wurth, 27, of Collinsville, Ill., born Dec. 20. 1983, in St. Louis, Mo., died on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, in Collinsville, Ill.

Mr. Wurth worked for Siemens Corporation. Derrick loved his family and was proud of being an Eagle Scout.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd C. Hayden, Raymond and Marcella, nee Hagen, Wurth; and two uncles, Donald and Gary Wurth.

Surviving are his parents, Paul Wurth of Collinsville, Ill., and Sheila J., nee Hayden, Wurth of Troy, Ill.; sisters,Destini R. (Mike Strieunoski)Wurth of O'Fallon, Ill., and Rachael M. Wurth of Troy, Ill., nephew, Hayden Derrick Wurth; great-grandma, Martha, nee Shelton, Hayden of Cahokia, Ill.; grandmother, Joann O., nee Bodenburg, Hayden of Belleville, Ill.; aunts and uncles, Tim and Debbie Hayden, Greg Hayden, Linda Geromiller, Mary Jo Hayden, Annette Hayden, Matt and Courtney Hayden, Jennifer and Lee Mutchie, Neil Hayden, Gayle Oldham, Carole Langenstein, Gene and Mary Wurth, Joanna Wurth, Bob and Sue Wurth; and his godson, Luke Ulrich.

Memorials may be made to Tri- Township Park or Cardinal Glennon Hospital

Friends may call from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, 2011, and Tuesday Sept. 27, 2011 from 10 to 11a.m. at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Troy, Ill.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011, at the church with Monsignor William Hitpas officiating. Interment in Friedens Cemetery, Troy, Ill.
