Della M. Bollinger, 80, of Troy, IL, born Sunday,June 21, 1942 in Alton, IL and passed away on April 6, 2023 at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

Della was a long time member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Troy, IL.  She was a graduate of Triad High School Class of 1962.  She enjoyed traveling, camping trips, fishing, playing games of chance in Tunica, MS, Deadwood, SD, Alton, IL and many other destinations.

She was preceded in death by her son, John Bollinger; a grandson, Robert Bollinger; parents, William and Reta (nee Edwards) Douglas; and her sister, Mildred Desser.

Surviving are her husband, Lee Bollinger whom she married in December 1962; her grandson, William Bollinger of Collinsville, IL; and her brother-in-law, Dean Bollinger of Oleatha, KS. Visitation will be held 10 to 11 am on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Friedens United Church of Christ, Troy, IL.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Wednesday, April 12 at Friedens United Church of Christ, Troy, IL with Rev. Tim Harrison officiating.  Interment will be in Friedens Cemetery, Troy, IL
