Deanna M. Gansmann, 80, of St. Jacob, IL. Born Friday, June 13, 1941 in Highland, Il and passed away peacefully on June 13, 2021 at San Gabriel, Highland, IL.

Deanna was St. Jacob Township Clerk for over 25 years.  She was a member of the St. Jacob Fire Department auxiliary, St. Jacob United Church of Christ, the Ladies Guild and Farm Bureau.  She enjoyed gardening and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Baseball fan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmond Gansmann; her parents, Charlie and Clara (nee Weidner) Barnes; and her brothers, Gerald and Don Barnes.

Surviving are her sons, Mike Gansmann and Mark Gansmann both of St. Jacob, IL; grandchildren, Kylee Gansmann, Kate Morthland and Hannah Jamruk; great-grandson, Walter Morthland; and her sister, Sally Sparks of Farmington, MO and her brother, Charlie Barnes of Franklin, TN
