Obituary
Daniel Stuart Balow, Sr., age 41, of Troy, Illinois died Monday, October 18, 2010 at his residence.
Mr. Balow was employed by NCI at Scott Air Force Base, Belleville, Illinois. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force.
Daniel was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Stuart Balow, Jr.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara Ann (Payne) Balow of Troy, IL.; daughter, Haley Ann Balow of Troy, IL.; sons, David Overturf (Dee) of Carterville, IL. and Randy Overturf (Rachel) of Herrin, IL.; parents, Bernard (Sioux) Balow of Los Cruses, NM. and Annalee J. Barnes of Pleasant Hill, MO.; sisters, Lori Butler (Matthew) of Pleasant Hill, MO. and Jeri Scholtz (Ron) of MO.; grandchildren, Brody, Deanna, and David Overturf.
Memorials may be made to Haley Ann Balow College Fund.
Visitation will be Friday, October 22, 2010 at Laughlin-Richeson Funeral Home from 10 to 12 Noon.
Funeral service will be Friday, October 22, 2010 at 12 Noon at the funeral home with the Rev. Charles West officiating. Burial with Full Military Honors will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
