Dale T. "Ping" Wille, 65, of Troy, Ilinois, born Oct.19,1937, in Troy, Illinois, died Saturday, May 10, 2003 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Illinois. Mr. Wille worked for the city of Troy from March 1977 until his retirement in August of 1988. Prior to working for the city, Mr. Wille was a Route Salesman for Wonder Bread. He was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church, Maryville,IL. Mr. Wille joined the Troy Volunteer Fire Department in November of 1988. He was a member of the Troy Jaycees prior to joining the Fire Department. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Margaret, nee Thomas, Wille; and a brother, Robert Wille, who died in 1971. He is survived by his wife, Mary, nee Grivett, Wille of Troy,IL.; two sons, Davis (Pamelia) Wille of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Robert (Gina) Wille of Edwardsville,IL.; a daughter Suzanne Wille of Chicago,IL.; four sisters, Elaine (Donald) Ackerman of Troy,IL., Maryann (Herb) Forcade of Alton,IL., Geraldine (Duane) Zobrist of Troy, IL., and Judith (Gaymond) Preast of Cheney, Washington; and two grandchildren, Ryne and Maya Wille.

Visitation: Friends may call at the Laughlin Funeral Home after 4 P.M. on Monday, May 12, 2003, and from 9 A.M. to 10 A.M. at St. Lukes United Methodist Church, Maryville,IL.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 A.M. Tuesday, May 13, 2003 at St. Lukes United Methodist Church, Maryville, IL. Burial will be in Friedens Cemetery, Troy, IL.
