Dale Thomas LaBrier, 82, of Glen Carbon, IL, formerly of Millstadt, IL born June 28, 1938 in St. Louis, MO, passed on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Dale was a faithful member of St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, IL and former member of St. James Catholic Church, Millstadt, IL. He retired January 1, 2003 from Belleville East High School after many years of service. He loved spending time with his family and friends, camping, playing cards, square dancing and traveling.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Orville McKenzie and Lillian (nee Frye) LaBrier Goodwin; brothers, Virgil and Vernon LaBrier; step-father, Charles Goodwin; sisters-in-law, Pamela LaBrier and Pauline Range; brother-in-law, Robert Range.
Surviving are his loving wife, Faye (nee Range) LaBrier of Glen Carbon, IL, whom he married November 27, 1958 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Centreville, IL; his children, Diane (Rande) Gibbs of Highland, IL, Dale A. LaBrier of Cedar Hill, MO and Debbie (Jeff) Crossley of Fort Worth TX; grandchildren, Brent (Samantha) Gibbs of Marine, IL, Matt (Casey) Gibbs of Highland, IL, Zach (Megan) Crossley and Nicole Crossley both of Fort Worth, TX; great-grandchildren, Carson, Easton, Mason, Emerson, Asher and Cash Gibbs and Zachary Crossley; a brother, Cordell LaBrier of Millstadt, IL; an Uncle, Jim Frye; brother's-in-law, Paul Range, Jim (Sharon) Range and Gary (Toni) Range; sister's-in-law, Judy (Everett) Hamilton and Pat Range; nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
COVID-19 restrictions will be followed, masks required, and social distancing. Please be respectful of time and do not linger so others may pay their respects to the family.

Friends may call 9 to 10 am on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, IL.
Funeral mass will be held 10 am Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Sat. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, IL with Fr. Kevin Laughery officiating. Interment will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Columbia, IL.
