Obituary
Cynthia Lee Diser, nee Chapman, of Troy, Illinois died Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri. She was born September 1, 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Cynthia was a nurse at Gateway Regional Hospital in Granite City. She was a member of American Legion Aux. and a volunteer for Relay for Life.
She was preceded in death by her parents Gerald Charles and Laura Jean, nee Hornal, Chapman, Sr.
Cynthia is survived by her daughters, Amy (Richard) Housen of Troy, IL., Kimberly Reynolds of Troy, IL., and Michelle (James) Binder of Troy, IL.; brothers, Gerald (Lesley) Chapman, Jr. of Troy, IL., Mike (Renee) Chapman of St. Louis, Mo., and Darrin (Susan) Chapman of Troy, IL.; sisters, Patti (Marty) Smith of Troy, IL., and Karen Castiller of Troy, IL.; six grandchildren, Victoria Binder, Rachel Binder, Jessica Reynolds, Hunter Reynolds, Kevin Mize, and Gabriel Housen.
Memorials to the family would be greatly appreciated.
Visitation will be Friday, December 10, 2010 from 5 to 7 PM at Laughlin-Richeson Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be conducted Friday, December 10, 2010 at 7 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Charles West officiating.
It was her wishes to be cremated.
