Obituary

Cornelia R. "Connie" Chrusciel, 93, of Troy, IL, born November 13, 1927 in Fagus, MO and passed away peacefully on November 26, 2020 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.

Connie was a log time faithful member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Troy, Il where she was active in Lutheran women's League, Helping Hands, Pleasant Hour Club.  She loved to read and loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Chrusciel whom she married July 1, 1949 in St. Louis, MO and he passed away on September 27, 1995; her parents, Evan Ethan and Linda Lorene (nee King) Jaggars; a brother, Leroy Jaggars; and her sisters, Mary McGinnis, Lessie Matchett, Osa McAllister and Vergie Aubuchon.

Surviving are her children, Vicki D. (Larry) Ponce of Stephens City, VA, Deborah (Eldon) Dunn of Murphysboro, IL and Cheryl Chrusciel of Troy, IL; grandchildren, Aaron Meyer, Penelope Meyer, Jessica (Jay) Heiple and Katelyn Dunn; great grandchildren, Bella and George Meyer, Emma and Sam Heiple, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

Family will receive friends from 10 to 11 am on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Troy, IL.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Saturday, December 5, 2020 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Troy with Pastor Albert Collver officiating.  Interment in St. Paul's Lutheran cemetery, Troy, IL.
