Obituary
Colleen E. Mersinger of Troy, IL. died Wednesday,May 14, 2008 at St. Luke's Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born July 31, 1925 in Marine, IL.
Miss Mersinger had previously worked for Mutual Benefit Insurance Company as a bookkeeper. She was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church, the Republican Ladies, and an avid Cardinal fan.
Miss Mersinger was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Dorothy, nee Hess, Mersinger.
She is survived by cousins Vivian Raffaelle of Edwardsville, Il., Ethel Bauer of Collinsville, Il., Wayne Wirz of Highland, Il., and many other cousins.
Memorials may be made to St. Jerome's Catholic Church Building Fund.
Visitation will be held Saturday, May 17, 2008 from 9 to 11 a.m. at St. Jerome's Catholic Church in Troy, Il.
Funeral service will be Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Jerome's Catholic Church in Troy, IL. with Msgr. Virgil Mank officiating. Interment will be at St. Elizabeth's Cemetery in Marine, IL.
