Cleola Adell Wuench, 88, of Kingsport, Tenn., formerly of St. Jacob, Ill., born March 18, 1921, in Troy, Ill., died Saturday, May 30, 2009, in Kingsport, Tenn.
Mrs. Wuench was a horticulturist for Strackeljohn Farms.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Dale Wuench, whom she married on June 24, 1961, and who died Nov. 12, 1980; her parents, Zeno and Catherine, nee Fritz, Bugger; brothers, Herman Joseph Bugger and Leroy Zeno Bugger; and nieces and nephews, Charles Bugger, Diana Masinna and Percy Bugger.
Surviving are her nieces and nephews, Margaret Shanks, Martha Fancher, Robert Sobiech, David Wise, Ruth Holzinger, Nancy Shiefer, Leroy Zeno Bugger Jr., Robert Bugger, Deborah Huff, Kenneth Wise, Herman Bugger Jr., and Catherine Rickert.
Memorials may be made in the form of Masses.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2009, at Laughlin-Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Ill., and from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, O'Fallon, Ill.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, O'Fallon, Ill., with Msgr. Hitpas officiating. Burial will be at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Black Jack, Ill.
