Obituary

Clara E. Lang, 84, of Cabot, AR, born Monday, May 2, 1938 in Troy, IL and passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 in Little rock, AR.

Clara was proud to serve her country in the United States Navy.  She was a life member Cabot VFW Aux., Cabot, AR.  She enjoyed volunteering and supporting Toys for Tots, the USO and Boys Town.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ray Lang; a son, Michael R. Lang; parents Edward and Augusta (Hoenig) Maedge; her sister, Frieda Kuhn; and brothers, Charles Sr. and Edward Maedge.

She was survived by her children, Robert (Tae) Lang, Fayetteville, NC, Sabrina (Ford) Allen, Grafton, WV and Vicki Bois of Spencer, MA; grandchildren, Clara T. (Robert "Bo") Farish, Robert Lang Jr., Christina Rizzo, David (Elizabeth) Babin and Brandy (Jacob) Berube; great-grandmother, Hunter and Mathew Setler, D.J. and Paul Ray Babin, Corey and Brayden Berube; sisters, Ruby Schultze of Troy, IL, Jane Maedge of Troy, IL and Ruth Ann (Bob) Ostendorf of Addieville, IL; sister-in-law, Pat Maedge of Troy, IL many nieces, nephews and friends

Visitation for Clara will be held 10 to 11 am on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Friedens United Church of Christ, Troy, IL.

Funeral services will be held 11 am on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Firedens United Church of Christ, Troy, IL with Rev. Phil Kershner officiating.  Interment will be in Hoenig Cemetery, Troy, IL
