Cindy L. Cooper, 62, of Troy, Ill., formerly of Normal, Ill., born Sept. 24, 1953, in Danville, Ill., passed on from this life on March 18, 2016, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.
Cindy attended Danville Public Schools and Illinois State University in Normal. On Sept. 18, 1971, she married the love of her life, Terry Cooper in Danville.
Cindy worked in various positions including State Farm Insurance, Illinois Agricultural Association, Bloomington and Heartland Christian Counseling, Normal. She took pride in her most important job, being a stay-at-home mom. She devoted her free time to the study of Bible prophecy and her painting of scripturally based abstract art. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Troy.
Cindy loved her Lord and her life. She loved to laugh, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carrie Anne; her parents, Ross and Helen Bartlow; in-laws, Gene and Helen Cooper; and sister-in-law, Karen Cooper.
Surviving are her loving husband, Terry Cooper of Troy; devoted daughter, Heather (Adam) Hamm, Collinsville; a dear grandson, Cooper Hamm, Collinsville; sisters, Sharon (Ken) Karr, and Karen Flessner of Danville; Brother-in-law, Jimmie Cooper of Champaign; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
