Obituary
Christine Ann Long, nee Lynch, 49, of Troy, Ill., born Sept. 21, 1959, in San Bernadino, Calif., died Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.
Christine was a homemaker. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Troy, Ill., and VFW Post 976 Auxiliary, Troy, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara L., nee Noe, Krohn; a daughter, Amber Lynn Eyman; and a sister, Tammy Lynch.
Surviving are her husband, Ronald J. Long whom she married on July 27, 1979, in Gary County, Kan.; her daughter, Heather (Randy) Smith of Indianapolis, Ind.; her father, William Krohn; brothers, Timothy T. Lynch and Christopher (Debbie) Lynch of Milwaukee, Wis.; and grandchildren, Cooper and Cassidy Eyman, Garath Webb, and Ty, Dylan, Blaine and Gerald.
Memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church or VFW Post 976 Ladies Auxiliary, Troy, Ill.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2009, at Bethel Baptist Church, Troy, Ill.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at Bethel Baptist Church, with Rev. Jim Wiens and Rev. Tim Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
