Chris Allen Lowry Sr., 52, of Edwardsville, Ill., born Aug. 11, 1963, in Quincy, Ill., passed away Dec. 24, 2015, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Chris enjoyed his job as a drywall finisher, and took great pride in his work, he was owner operator of Lowry Drywall for over 17 years. He enjoyed rural living, the outdoors, riding his Harley, hiking especially in the Smokey Mountains with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father Charles Lowry; father-in-law, Chester Hillis.

Surviving are his Significant other/life partner and mother of his children, Tina Hillis Fitzhugh; children, Amber, Brooke and Chris Lowry Jr., all of the home; mother, Charlotte (nee Grogen) Reeves of Granite City, Ill., brothers, Charles Lowry of Granite City, Ill, Chuck Lowry of Nortonville, Ky., Mike Faler of Granite City, Ill.; sister Shelly Faler of Granite City, Ill., brother-in-laws, Mike and Randy Hilli of Granite City, Ill.,; sister-in-law Cindy (Todd) Kessler of Winston-Salem, NC; many nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
