Charlotte L. Baglin, 82, of Troy, Ill., born May 11, 1935 in Carrollton, Ill., passed away on Aug. 23, 2017 at Meridian Village in Glen Carbon, Ill.

Charlotte was a member of Troy United Methodist Church, and the United Methodist Women's Club, Troy, Ill., where she worked for over 25 years as a custodian. She worked for Tritownship Library and Triad High School. Charlotte liked to sew, embroidery, bowling and enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and others. Her family was her life and enjoyed caring for her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David W. Baglin Sr., whom she married on May 25, 1957, who passed away on Sept. 30, 2005; grandson, Jackson David Haney; brothers, Lloyd and Paul Reynolds; as well as her sisters, Doris Leffler, Henrietta Reynolds, Marry Figge, Thelma Miller, Wanetia Pinnell, Esther Eggley and Wilma McGowen.

Surviving her are her children, Dave (Julie) Baglin of Highland, Ill., Robert (Lora) Baglin of Sanderson, Fla., Kevin Baglin of Troy, Ill., Jim (Dana) Baglin of Gillispie, Ill., Karen (Lou) Walker of Troy, Ill., and Debra, (Jerald) Haney of Bethalto, Ill.; grandchildren, Brian (Jill) Baglin, Allen Baglin, Robert Baglin, Jordan (Kim) Baglin, Dan (Melissa) Baglin, Adam, Joseph, Jacob Baglin, Dane Haney, Norman (Sara) Walker and Crystal (Dave) Roth; great-grandchildren, Joshua (Lea) Roth, Nicole (Curtis) Martindale, Tiffany, Samantha and Tyler Mitchell, Ruby and Mitchell Walker; great-greatgrandchildren, CJ and Kayla Martindale, Ryder, Riley, Briar and Bailey Baglin, Lyla Rose Mitchell, Peyton and Lexi Myers; brother, Larry (Betty) Reynolds of Troy, Ill.; and in-laws, Maryann Purcell, Judy Reynolds, Marie Reynolds and Robert (Connie) Baglin.

Funeral is at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2017 at Troy United Methodist Church in Troy, Ill., with Rev. Dr. Andy Adams officiating. Burial in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
