Charles T. Gammon Sr., 77, of Collinsville, IL, born October 25, 1948, in East St. Louis, IL and passed away at his home on Saturday, May 30, 2026.

Charles loved his family and enjoyed the times spent together. He was always ready for a motorcycle ride. He enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals play ball. Charles retired from Granite City Steel and Alton Steel as an Electrician.

He was preceded in death by his son, Chuck Gammon; grandson, Tyler Gammon; his parents, William R. and Constance (La Fonte) Gammon; and his brother, Bill Gammon.

Surviving are his children, Joey Gammon and Kim Gammon both of Troy, IL and Stacy O’Dell of Collinsville, IL; grandchildren, Gianna Genovese, Blake Mouyassar, Justin Shea and Ashleigh Shea; great-grandchildren, Camden, Tayve and Mia Cunliffe and one on the way; his sister, Betty Ann Gammon of Bloomington, IL; and many relatives and friends.
