Obituary
Charles Edward Frey 72, of Maryville,IL.,born July 30, 1934,in Highland, IL.,died Sunday, July 30, 2006, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.
Mr. Frey was a retired purchasing agent and negotiator for Highland Supply, Highland, IL. He was a Air Force veteran who attained the grade of Master Sergeant with the 63rd Fighter Squadron and the 56th Fighter Group Air Defense Command. Charles was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ and the River Bend Motorcycle Club.
He was preceeded in death by his mother, Louise,nee Morgan,Frey and his grandparents,Edward H. and Mayme,nee Adelhardt, Frey.
Surviving are his wife, Sjaron,nee Sparks,Frey of MAryville, IL.:his father Alvin Frey of Troy, IL.: his son Peter (Andrea Martin) Frey of Hoboken, N.J.; his daughter, Lori (Richard) McCurdy of Troy, IL.;and two grandchildren, Jermey and Josua McCurdy of Troy, IL.
Memorials may be made to IMUS Ranch for kids with Cancer or Veteran Rehabilitation Hospital, San Antonio,Texas.
VISITATION: Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. on Thursday, August 3, 2006 at Laughlin Funeral Home, Troy,IL.
SERVICES: Friday, August 4, 2006 at 10 A.M. at the Funeral Home with the Reverend Steve Wilson officiating.
