Mrs. Catherine L. Lochmann, age 87 years of Troy, Illinois formerly of Granite City, Illinois passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2007 at the Fountains II in Troy.

Mrs. Lochmann was born in Granite City, Illinois on March 27, 1920 to Donato and Rosina (Tessari) Zotti.

Catherine has spent her entire life in the Granite City and Troy area. In Granite City she worked at the A & J Market for many years until her retirement in the late 60's. CAtherine was a faithful and devout member of St. Jerome Catholic Church and an active member when health permitted of St. Ann's Altar Society of the Church.

In 1942 Catherine married Herbert Lochmann Sr.on September 26. Mr. Lochmann passed away on October 21, 1993.

Mrs. Lochmann is survived by one daughter; Mrs. Catherine (Randy) Fickert of Collinsville, Illinois. Eight Grandchildren and Eighteen Great Grandchildren. A brother; Leonard (Emmadella) Zotti of Granite City, Illinois. A sister; Mrs. Johanna Bukovac also of Granite City, Illinois.

Preceeding Catherine in death were her parents; Donato and Rosina (Tessari) Zotti. Her husband; Herbert Lochmann Sr.. Son; Herbert Lochmann Jr. Two brothers; John and Dominic Zotti. Two sisters; Rose (Raymond) Kohler and Anne Zotti.

Friends may call at the Laughlin Funeral Home on Friday, September 7, 2007 from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. And on Saturday, September 8, 2007 from 9 A.M. to time of service.

Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at 10 A.M. at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Troy. Officiating will be Monsignor Virgil Mank of St. Jerome Catholic Church.

Interment will be immediately following at Calvary Cemetery in Glen Carbon, Illinois.

Family wishes for memorials be made in the form of Masses.
