Carol Rae Horner, 70, of Belleville, Ill., born March 21, 1939, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010, at her home.
Carol was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Lee and Esther, nee Reedy, Toussaint; and a granddaughter, Angela M. Lee.
Surviving are her husband, Hugh Horner of Belleville, Ill.; a son, David (Cheryl) Horner of Troy, Ill.; a daughter, Debra (Michael) Laviolette Sr., of Wichita, Kan.; and grandchildren, Kevin and Andy Horner, Josh Triay, Diane Lee, and Rose and Michael Laviolette Jr.
Memorials may be made to the Autism Center of Fairview Heights, Ill.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan 11, 2010, at Laughlin-Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Ill.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010, at the funeral home, with Rev. Jess Horner officiating. Burial will be at Friedens Cemetery, Troy, Ill.
