Obituary
Carl Oscar Junge, 79, of Highland, Ill., born Nov. 6, 1929, in St. Louis, Mo., died Sunday, March 22, 2009, at Highland Health Care in Highland, Ill.
Mr. Junge was an engineering administrator for 34 years with McDonald Douglas retiring in 1989. He was a U.S. Marine veteran.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Bertha, nee Rathjens, Junge.
Surviving are his wife, Doris, nee Snow, Junge; son, Michael W. (Kate) Junge; grandchildren, Kathleen, Michael, Casey and John Junge; great-grandchild, Emma Warner; and sister, Elizabeth Skyles.
Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at Laughlin-Richeson Funeral Home in Troy, Ill., and from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 2009, at Highland Southern Baptist Church in Highland, Ill.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 2009, at the church with the Rev. Dr. Billy Blackmon officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Mo.
