Britney Nicole “Nikki” West, 44, of Troy, IL, born June 11, 1981, in Muncie, IN and passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, in Troy, IL.

Nikki enjoyed watching a good movie and listening to music. She loved her family and friends, and enjoyed the times spent together.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert Miller, Oliver and Azalia West.

She is survived by her son, Liam Nikolai Drummond; her sister, Danielle (Will) Nevin of Lebanon, IL, who lovingly raise Liam; parents, Kathy (Miller) (Curtis Gaultney) West of Troy, IL and Jeffery Keith West of New Castle, IN; her sister, Lexi Volkmann of Troy, IL; brothers, Matthew Lee (Emily) Hurst of New Castle, IN and Christopher (Hannah) West of Carmel, IN; grandmother, Barbara Miller of New Castle, IN; nieces, Eliza Hurst and Ivy West, nephew, Danny Hurst; and

many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation for Nikki will be held 11am to 1pm on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Home, 3406 South Memorial Drive, New Castle, IN.

Funeral services will be held 1 pm on Saturday, May 16 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Home, New Castle, IN, with Rev. Jerry Ingalls officiating. Interment will be in South Mound Cemetery, New Castle, IN.

Celebration of Nikki’s life will be held at Tri-Township Park in Troy, IL on Saturday, June 13th 2026 starting at 12 noon.
