Obituary

Bob V. Williams, 88, of Troy, Ill., born Feb. 23, 1925, in East St. Louis, Ill., died on April 15, 2013, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.


Bob co-owned with his brothers the Collinsville Honda Shop in Collinsville, Ill. He proudly served in World War II, in the US Marine Corp. He was a member of VFW Post 1117 Caseyville, Ill., Masonic Lodge No. 504 AF & AM, Fairview Heights, Ill., Scottish Rite and the Blue Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Van M. and Margaret, nee Kemper, Williams; brothers, Victor M. and William K. Williams; and sister, Shirley Anderson.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy, nee Levinski, Williams of Troy, Ill., whom he married Oct. 22, 1949, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in East St. Louis, Ill.; sons, Dennis (Stephanie) Williams of Troy, Ill., and Robert A. Williams of Collinsville, Ill.; grandson, Ryan K. (Trisha Gilomen) Williams; and sister-in-law, Helen Levinski of Collinsville, Ill.

He was our dear uncle, cousin and friend

Memorials may be made to; Fisher House at Jefferson Barracks or Shriners Hospital.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 18, 2013, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, April 19, 2013, at Richeson Funeral Home in Troy, Ill.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 19, 2013, at the funeral home with the Rev. Charles West officiating. Interment in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
