Obituary
Billy Boyce Terry, 55, of Troy, Ill., born Oct. 20, 1952, in Newport, Ark., died Saturday, May 3, 2008, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
Mr. Terry was a national archivist for the U. S. Government.
Billy was preceded in death by his father, George Terry.
Surviving are his wife, Claudia, nee Kreiter, Terry; two daughters, Tonya (Jim) Hearty of Waterloo, Ill., and Alison Finch of Troy, Ill.; a son, Alex Finch of Troy, Ill., one grandchild, Colton Hearty; his mother, Hester Young of Manchester, Mo.; four sisters, Mary (Ben) McDavid of Town and Country, Mo., Shirley (Webb) Simms of Manchester, Mo., Georgetta (Jim) Steiz of St. Louis,Mo., and Sue Veteto of Salt Lake City, Utah.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Madison County.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 5, 2008, at Laughlin Funeral Home in Troy, Ill.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at the funeral home with the Rev. Charles West officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Mo.
