Dr. William J. "Bill" Waters, DDS, 71, of Troy, IL, born August 6, 1947 in Quincy, IL, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018 at his home in Troy, IL.

Dr. Waters owned and operated Troy Dental Care in Troy, IL, for over 33 years. He was a member of the Illinois State Dental Society. He was an avid fisherman and golfer and had been able to attend the PGA tournament in St. Louis. He loved his daughter Danielle and his two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cyril Joseph and Emelyn R. (nee Moore) Waters; and brother, Michael Waters.

Surviving are his daughter, Danielle Waters-Shea of Troy, IL; grandchildren, Autumn and August Waters-Shea; sister, Nancy (Gene) Heitz of Muskego, WS; 4 nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends.
