Betty J. Reckmann, 93, 0f St. Jacob, IL, born Tuesday, April 7, 1931, in Highland, IL and passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Washington County Medical Center in Nashville, IL.

Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence H. Reckmann whom she married December 26, 1954, and he passed away on August 2, 2000; her son, Curtis Reckmann; parents, Fred and Bertha (nee Searcy) Blumer; a brother, Milton Blumer and her sisters, Lucille Wittman and Dorothy Blumer.

Surviving are her son, Keith (Linda) Reckmann of Nashville, IL; her grandchildren, Amanda Reckmann, Melissa (Kenny) Matthews, Stephanie (Edward) Weiler and Brandon (Rebecca) Reckmann; her 12 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Visitation for Betty will be 9 to 10:30 am on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Aebischer-Richeson Funeral Home, St. Jacob, IL.

Family graveside service will be held at Keystone Cemetery, St. Jacob, IL, with Rev. Philip Barbier officiating.
