Obituary
Betty Lou Jarrett, nee Blankenship, 74, of Troy, Ill., born June 17, 1939, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Tuesday, June 10, 2014.
Betty was a member of Good Shepard Lutheran Church in Collinsville, Ill. She enjoyed gardening and working with her flowers, and quilting. She always enjoyed the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her toy poodle, Dusty.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer E. Jarrett, and her parents, James and Laverne, nee, Wilson, Blankenship.
She is survived by three daughters; Yvonne Muskopf of Troy, Ill., Michelle (Dean) Reynolds of St. Jacob, Ill., and Stacy (Chuck) Waeltz of Belleville, Ill.; eight grandchildren; Alex (Emily Haukap) Muskopf, Aaron Muskopf, Kelly (Andy) Hawkins, Mitchell and Sydney Waeltz, Reena (Mike) Hamil, Kim (Paul) Magruder and Anna (Kyle Fagan) Reynolds; and four great-grandchildren, Chase Hawkins, Lilly and Ethan Hamil and Hattie Magruder.
Memorials may be made to Partners for Pets, Troy, Ill.
Graveside Services were held at Calvary Cemetery, Edwardsville, Ill.
