Obituary
Betty L. Cavaness, 88, of Marine, IL, born July 20, 1929 in Union County, IL, passed away January 5, 2018 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville,IL.
Betty was a member of the VFW Post 976, Troy, IL Auxillary. She worked for many years at Elmwood Nursing and Rehab in Maryville, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewitt T. and Augusta (nee Kimmel) Gregory; and 3 sisters.
Surviving are her son, James D. (Vicky) Cavaness of Kansas City, MO; granddaughters, Jennifer (Keith) Gooch of Highland, IL and Jamie (Ron Cannon) Cavaness of O'Fallon, IL; great-grandchildren, Mikayla Cavaness, Kristin Gooch, Vayda Stanley and Ava Skelton.
