Bette, nee Calame, Bohannon, 82, born October 5, 1934, at home in Witt, Ill., and passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Missouri Baptist Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.

Bette attended both Webster Groves Presbyterian Church and Christ Church Cathedral, St. Louis. She was a volunteer for BJC Hospice for several years. She had a quick wit and a great sense of humor. She enjoyed cooking and most of all loved her family. Beloved husband Mike says, "She is my Sparkler!"

Bette was preceded in death by her parents, Shirley and Zella, nee Bassham, Calame.

Surviving are her husband Mike Bohannon, whom she married August 11, 1973 in St. Louis, Mo.; her children, Scott (Molly) Bohannon and Toni (Dan) Quick; grandchildren, Addison (Gina) Bohannon, Mia (Greg) Griffin and Hadlie Quick; great-grandson, Dawson Griffin; sister, Dee (Norm) Bafunno; brother, Dale (Brenda) Calame; former daughter-in-law, Brenda (Thomas Juli) Bohannon; many nieces, nephews, cousins and a far-reaching circle of friends.
