Obituary
Bernice Marie Burnett Taviner, 90, of Edwardsville, Ill., born Feb. 10, 1922, in O'Fallon, Ill., died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at University Nursing and Rehab Center, Edwardsville, Ill.
Bernice was a member of Calvary Life Church in Granite City, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert John and Violet, nee Owens, Walliser; a daughter, Judy Blackburn; and a brother, Herbert Walliser.
Surviving are her daughters, Jean Marie Huff of Ellisville, Mo., Shirley (Kent) DeConcini of Edwardsville, Ill., Marilyn F. (Albert) Tenllado of Glen Carbon, Ill., and Peggy Lee Anderson of Edwardsville, Ill.; a brother, Albert (Joyce) Walliser of Granite City, Ill.; son-in-law, Conrad Blackburn of Troy, Ill.; nine grandchildren, Steven Barnett, Lori Horack, Jodi DeConcini, Amy Monson, Melissa Kunsman, Angie Bullard, Albert Tenllado, Ryan Anderson and Lindsay Anderson; and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Calvary Life Church.
Private services will be held at Laughlin-Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Ill. with Rev. Mark Maynard officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens, Glen Carbon, Ill.
