Mrs. Bernadine Hoff, 92, of Troy, Illinois, born September 21, 1913 in Fayetteville, Illinois, died June 13, 2006 at Maryville Manor Nursing Home, Maryville, Illinois.
Mrs. Hoff lived in St. Ann, Missouri until 2002 when she moved to Troy, Illinois.She was an avid card player and she loved playing cards with her group of women. Mrs. Hoff was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church.
Mrs. Hoff is preceded in death by her parents, Gerhard and Anna (nee: Kramper) Stein, her husband, Oliver Hoff who passed away December 1974, two brothers, August and Fred Stein, one sister, Sophie Herman, and two grandchildren, Mary and Danny.
Mrs. Hoff is survived by one son, John (Rita) Hoff of Troy, Illinois, two daughters, Mrs. Ann (Rich) Buss of Foley, Alabama, and Mrs. Carol (Ray) Clark of Warrenton, Missouri, one brother, Richard Stein of Fayetteville, Illinois, eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation.
According to Mrs. Hoff's wishes her body is to be donated to science.
Memorial donations may be made to the donor's choice.
